Epidemiologists, statisticians, physicians and oncologists, public health specialists and others with a direct interest in descriptive cancer epidemiology, and particularly those working in a cancer registry. Applicants are expected to have a basic understanding of statistics and epidemiology. The course will include discussion of some advanced statistical methods but the faculty will emphasise the principles and application rather than the mathematical details.
